Overview
You can download your full cards list as a CSV file directly from the Cards page. The export includes all card details and respects any filters you have active, so you only export what you need.
This is useful for:
Reporting and reconciliation across your card portfolio
Identifying cards by issuance period or account
Auditing spending limits across your team
Who Can Use This
The CSV export is available to users with Owner, Admin, or Accountant access.
Exporting Your Cards as a CSV
Go to the Cards page in the Pliant admin app.
Apply any filters you want to narrow the export (optional). The Download button will show how many cards will be included.
Click the Download button in the top-right corner. The CSV file will be generated and downloaded to your device.
The file is named: YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS_cards_[organization-name].csv
Note: If the Download button appears inactive, your organization has no cards yet.
What Is Included in the Export
The CSV includes all card details: cardholder name, card name, card type, status, spending limit, limit frequency, card account, issuance date, and more. Columns for optional modules (Teams/Projects, Controls, Custom Fields, Copilots) are only included if the respective module is enabled for your organization.
Troubleshooting
The Download button is greyed out
Your organization has no cards yet. Create at least one card to enable the export.
The Card Account filter is not visible
This filter only appears if your organization has more than one card account.
The CSV file shows unexpected characters when opened in Excel
Use Excel's Data > Get Data > From Text/CSV import instead of double-clicking the file.
Some columns are missing from the CSV
Columns for Teams/Projects, Controls, Custom Fields, and Copilots only appear when the corresponding module is enabled. Contact your Pliant account manager to enable a module.
FAQ
Can I export cards for a specific date range?
Yes. Use the Issued date filter to select a date range before clicking Download.
Does the export include terminated or cancelled cards?
The export reflects whatever is shown based on your active Status filter. Select "Terminated" in the Status filter to include terminated cards.
The exported file uses semicolons instead of commas. Is that correct?
Yes. The separator follows your locale setting (semicolons for German, commas for others). Both are valid CSV formats.
